DONATIONS

As a detox and “rehab” home for men (who are trying desperately to get sober and clean from addiction), we have some very specific needs. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit as well as a “no-cost” facility to our clients.

URGENT NEEDS:

  • Coffee, Koo laid, artificial sweetener, AA Big Books, 8 oz cups for coffee

Accepted:

  • Coffee, Koo laid, Sports Drinks (no energy drinks)

  • Men’s clothing gently used or new

  • Pairs of shoes/work-boots, clean, gently used or new

  • Men’s underwear, new only

  • Coats, and Jackets and hats

  • Hygiene Products, new and unopened, NO ALCOHOL

    • shampoo, deodorant, lotion, soap

    • toothpaste and tooth brushes

    • Toilet paper

    • Raisers

  • AA Big Books and AA literature

  • Paper goods: plates, bowls, napkins, forks, spoons, knives

  • Linens, clean, gently used or new

    • Twin size sheets only and pillow cases

    • bath towels and wash clothes

    • Twin size only New blankets (no bedspreads)

  • Bottled water, canned goods

  • Unexpired non-perishable foods

  • Cold and head ache medications, over the counter - new/unopened

  • Alarm clocks

 

Not Accepted

To insure safety and health of our men, as well as make best use of our very limited storage space, the following items can NOT be accepted:

  • Bibles (we actually have way more than we can use)

  • Used undergarments

  • Mouthwash and hand sanitizer (alcohol content)

  • Toys

  • Women’s clothing

  • Partially used hygiene products

  • Anything “broken seal”

  • Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc

  • Mattresses, box springs, headboards, bed frames

  • Computers, Printers

  • Telephones, cell phones, Fax and Copier Machines

  • Paint, charcoal, matches, flammables

  • Residential or office furniture

  • Appliances

  • TV’s , radios, microwaves, any small appliances

  • Decorations

  • Damaged or broken items
